To reassemble the encoder device:
1. Tilt the machine on one side.
2. Back off and remove the foot l.
3. Back off the 4 screws m using a Phillips
screwdriver.
4. Remove the front lower casing.

5. Pass the cable/tape through the machine
frame taking care to the correct route on the
rollers indicated by the arrows.
6. Proceed carry out the disassembling steps in
reverse order.
After completing the reassembly
procedure, carry on the procedure
described in paragraph 8.1. “Adjusting
the encoder zero position”.
