8. SPECIAL OPERATIONS
The term special operations refers to those procedures whose correct execution is fundamental for
the safe and reliable operation of the machine.
8.1. ADJUSTING THE ENCODER ZERO POSITION
8.1.1. ANTERIOR

To adjust the encoder zero position, proceed as
follow:
1. Remove the left side carriage casing.
2. Move the carriage completely ahead toward
the display.
3. Adjust the position of the pin where the
encoder cable is fixed, in its slot of the
carriage so that the value indicated by the
arrow on the display is “zero” (use a 4mm
hex wrench and a 13mm wrench).
At the end of the procedure reassemble
what previously disassembled.
