7.13. GAS SPRING AND GAS SPRING UNLOCKING CABLE

Carry out the procedure described in paragraphs
7.2. “Lower casing” and 7.12. “Back-rest
carriage”.
To disassemble the gas spring:
1. Back off the screw a and its nut using an
8mm hex wrench and a 17mm wrench.
2. Disconnect the gas spring from the frame.

3. Open the hook b which is fixing the gas
spring unlocking cable on the spring. Rotate
it clock-wise and pull it out from the bottom
(see the figure at side).
4. Disconnect the cable from the gas spring.
5. Back off the screw c and its nut using an
8mm hex wrench and a 17mm wrench.
6. Remove the gas spring.

To disassemble the gas spring unlocking cable:
1. Back off the nut d using a 10mm wrench.
2. Pull out the adjusting screw from the frame
support.
