6. TROUBLESHOOTING & CONFIGURATION
To correctly perform the troubleshooting operations, the following is required: Portable notebook,
USB - MINI USB cable and terminal software.
6.1 EXECUTABLE SW FOR DIAGNOSTICS WITH PC
1. Connect the console to the portable PC, through the USB - MINI USB cable: in detail, connect the
MINI USB connector to the console (OTG Port) and the USB connector to your PC;
2. The rst time that the PC is connected with SKILLROW, the PC asks to install a driver for
the detected device. Stop the automatic search for the driver on Windows update and select
the manual path on your PC where the le was previously saved, which can be downloaded
from TG Direct: myrun_usb_driver.inf.
The New Group Cycle (D92), Skillmill, MYRUN TECHNOGYM, MYCYCLING, SKILLROW
drivers are the same, therefore once the driver has been installed for one of the equipments listed, the
procedure does not need to be repeated.
In case of problems with the “Terminal” executable: close the program, disconnect the USB cable
and in sequence, reconnect the USB cable and restart the executable again.
The protocol described by the document denes the set of messages that can be sent to the equip-
ment. The messages are purely ASCII. This executable can be used to perform a series of reading
and diagnostic operations and receive the responses from the system.
3. Launch the software: Terminal.exe.
4. The rst time the executable is opened, set a few seings on the screen as shown below:
• Click on Rescan at the top left corner;
• Select the correct COM Port;
• Select +CR;
• Select DTR;
• Set Baud Rate 19200;
• Click on Connect.
5. Now, you can insert commands in the specic section.
