PROGRAMMING AND INTERFACING
GPIB Command Summary
Below is a summary of the GPIB commands that may be used while programming the 1750. It is
recommended that the user have some familiarity with the IEEE-488 specification before continuing
with this section. Programming for the Model 1750 is performed by using Device Dependent Commands
from the buss to the instrument. These commands are a combination of a letter and a number. Upper
and lower case letters are permitted. In order to send a Device Dependent Command to the instrument,
the command string must be followed by a message delimiter, such as “X” and a terminator sequence.
The table below is a summary of individual commands.
Enable Auto Correct Feature
Not user Selectable. Auto Correction is always enabled. Per
latest firmware revision.
Recall Setup, “n” Where n=0 through 9
Set Delay Time in ms; n= 001 – 250
[Default=111]

[Default=111]
Set 1750 to 50 Hz Integration
Group Execute Trigger [GET]
IBGET]
for National
Triggers the device to take a reading. The reading is not
returned to the bus.
IBCLEAR]
for National
Commands the device to clear all errors and reinitialize the
unit to factory default settings. See page 3-2.
