1. Adjust Step Attenuator Balance (RIO and R60)
a. Position the trace on the center horizontal graticule
line using the Channel 1 POSITION control.
b. Set the CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch to 5 mV.

c. ADJUST—Step Attn Bal (RIO) to set the trace on
the center horizontal graticule line.
d. Set the CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch to 10 mV.
e. Repeat parts a through d until there is no trace shift
when changing the CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch from 50 mV
to 5 mV.
