booth, the maximum number of channels and the operating mode
between and within the booths.
Maximum booths and desks
The maximum number of booths that need to be configured can be
set in the "Max # Booth" menu item. There can be a maximum of
58 booths selected.
The maximum number of desks defines the number of desks for
each booth. Each booth can have a different number of interpreter
desks installed.
As shown on the display, booth 01 can have maximum 2 interpreter
desks installed. The value can be changed up to 15 desks/booth by
using the jog wheel and confirm by pushing ENTER.
Maximum channels
This option allows to set the maximum number of channels
selectable per booth and desk. There can be up to 58 channels
selected.
Mode in booths
In the mode in booths these modes are also available.
Mixed: multiple interpreters may simultaneously translate to the
same language. Whenever two interpreters translate simultaneously
they are notified by the flashing microphone led and the flashing
red signal ring.
Override: this is similar to the Override mode of the Mode between
booths. The only difference here is that the override happens on a
per booth basis.
Toggle Override: is similar to the Toggle Override of the Mode
between booths. The only difference here is that the override

In the mode between booths three choices are available.
Override: any interpreter microphone in another booth can override
the current active microphone and become active. The interpreter
microphone that was just overridden cannot return active again
until the booth responsible for the override deactivates its
microphone. Also, the B-channel has priority when taking over..
An interpreter cannot take over the channel again, before the B-
channel has been deactivated.
Toggle Override: any interpreter microphone in another booth can
override the current active microphone and become active. The
interpreter microphone set to non-active can return active for this
translation by pressing his microphone button again.
