In the next illustration, Russian is the floor speech and the auto-
floor facility is enabled for the Russian interpreter’s desk. This
interpreter selects outgoing channel B and automatically relays an
English translation of the floor speech as auto-floor to all other
interpreter desks. His translation is therefore fed to the English
language distribution channel. The incoming channel
AUTOFLOOR indicator is activated on all other interpreter desks
to indicate that auto-floor is active.
Notice that the floor channel for the delegates will not change.
Auto-floor only concerns the interpreter side of the system.
