3. Set up the parameters.
1) Click the dropdown list and select Ping.
2) IP Address: Select an existed IP address in the drowdown list or select Manual.
3) IP/Domain Name: When you select Manual, please enter an IP address or domain name to be detected,
such as www.google.com.
4) Ping Packets: Set up the number of ping packets.
5) Packet Size: Set up the size of each ping packet.
4. Click Start.
Wait a moment and the results will be displayed on the page.
Traceroute
Traceroute is a computer network diagnostic tool for displaying the route (path) and measuring transit delays of
packets across an Internet Protocol (IP) network.
To detect a path from the device to google, do as follows:
1. Log in to the device’s web UI.
2. Go to Advanced > Diagnose.
3. Set up the parameters.
1) Click the dropdown list and select Traceroute.
2) Destination IP/Domain Name: Enter an IP address or domain name to be detected, such as
www.google.com.
4. Click Start.
Wait a moment and the results will be displayed on the page.
