Ping
Ping is a commonly used diagnosis and troubleshooting command. It can detect whether the device is reachable
to a specified IP address or domain name. If it is reachable, the destination IP address returns response packets.
Parameter description:
Parameter

IP Address
Select an existed IP address in the drowdown list or select Manual to enter an IP address or
domain name.
IP/Domain
Name
When you select Manual, please enter an IP address or domain name to be detected.
Ping Packets
Set up the number of ping packets.
Packet Size
Set up the size of each ping packet.
To check whether an IP or domain name is reachable, do as follows:
1. Log in to the device’s web UI.
2. Go to Advanced > Diagnose.
