 Press button: adjust the lifting column height.
‒ Arrow up: THERA-Trainer moves up
‒ Arrow down: THERA-Trainer moves down
‒ During adjustment of the lifting column height, the right symmetry display shows the current distance
until the front distance sensor reaches detection zone 1.
‒ Adjustment of lifting column height stops as soon as the front distance sensor reaches detection zone 1.
 Press the keys again: adjust the height of the lifting column in detection zone 1.
‒ The lifting column height is adjusted at a reduced speed and with an acoustic signal.
‒ When detection zone 2 is reached, the height setting process stops and T.assist code A003 is displayed
on the control and display unit.
‒ Training in detection zone 1 is not possible as a leg exerciser. After starting the trainer as a leg exerciser
in detection zone 1, the lifting column automatically moves outside detection zone 1.
‒ Training in detection zone 1 is possible as an upper body exerciser.
If buttons are pressed during the training session, the session pauses. To continue exercising press
the START button.
Duty cycle (lifting column height adjustment) of the lifting columns is approx. 3 minutes at maximum load.
If the duty cycle is exceeded, the control and display unit displays an error message.
START button:
 Press button: THERA-Trainer starts the training session at 10 rpm.
STOP button:
 Press button: THERA-Trainer pauses ongoing training session (-P-).
 Press button again: THERA-Trainer stops training session.
‒ The evaluation of the current training session is displayed.
‒ Evaluation shows:
1. Distance covered in km or miles
2. Energy consumption in kJ
‒ Switch the evaluation contents by pressing the direction of rotation button.
Emergency stop button:
 Press button: THERA-Trainer immediately stops the training session.
‒ In dangerous situations, the number of revolutions and the exercising resistance immediately slow
down to 0.
‒ The display unit shows STOP.
‒ If T.assist is available, the status light flashes orange and beeps sound.
To exit emergency stop:
 Press START button.
- OR -
 Disconnect power plug.
 Wait 5 seconds.
 Connect power plug.
 Press the START button to start the new training session.
If the THERA-Trainer immediately starts with the training session after you press the START button:
 Press emergency stop button.
‒ Contact trained supplier and notify them about the defect.
‒ Do not use the THERA-Trainer for further training sessions.
