Onmodel08743machines,thecircuitreliefvalveispartofremotemanifoldnear
theliftvalve.Onmodel08745machines,thereliefvalveforthesteeringandlift
circuitisintegratedintothesteeringcontrolvalve.
Ifbothsteeringandliftoperationsperformpoorly,performtheimplement/charge
pump(P2)owtestandthecircuitreliefvalvetest.

•Flowmeterwithpressuregaugethathasatleasta16liter/minute(5
gallons/minute)capacity.
•1or2hydraulictesthoses
TestProcedure
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachments,engagethe
parkingbrake,andsetthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinT estingtheHydraulicSystem
(page5–23).
3.Removethecentershroud.
4.Cleanthettingandthehydraulichoseontherightsideofthehydraulic
pumpshown;refertoFigure39.
