Thetractioncircuitoperatesessentiallythesameinreverseasitdoesinthe
forwarddirection.However,theowthroughthecircuitisreversed.Pushing
thebottomofthetractionpedalrotatesthevariabledisplacementpumpswash
plateinthehydraulicpumptocreateaowofuid.Thisuidisdirectedtothe
xeddisplacementmotorwhichturnsthedifferentialinputshafttodrivethefront
wheelsinareversedirection.Thereversetractionpressureislimitedto32,495
kPa(4,713psi)bythereversetractionreliefvalvelocatedinthehydraulicpump.
Theuidowingfromthemotorreturnstothevariabledisplacementpumpand
iscontinuouslypumpedthroughtheclosedlooptractioncircuitaslongasthe
tractionpedalispushed.
Thechargecircuitfunctionsthesameinreverseasitdoesintheforward
direction.
