Eachlineofthefollowingchart(Figure114)identiesthenecessarycomponent
position(inputs)inorderfortheSCMtoenergizetheappropriateoutputsfor
operatingthemachine.
Example:Tostarttheenginewithanoperatorintheseat,whenthekeyisinthe
STARTposition,thetractionpedalintheneutralposition,andtheparkingbrakeis
notset,theenginecomponentsandenginestarterisenergized.
IMPORTANT
Duringtheoperationofthemachine,ifthePTOshutsdownandthe
consoletemperaturewarninglightilluminates,avoidshuttingoffthe
engine.Underthiscondition,pushthePTOknobdown,slowlydrive
toasafeatarea,movethethrottlelevertotheSLOWposition,press
thetractionpedal,andsettheparkingbrake.Allowtheenginetobe
idleforseveralminuteswhileitcoolstoasafelevel,andcheckthe
coolingsystembeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
