Thedifferentialhasaheavydutycasewithautomotivetype,cutgearsthatrotate
ontaperedrollerbearings.Single-row,pre-set,taperedrollerbearingsareused
ontheoutsideendsoftheaxleshafts.
Theentiredrivelineoftheaxleassemblyismadeofalloysteel.Theaxlehasa
die-castaluminumhousingthatalsoservesasthehydraulic-uidreservoir.
Poweristransmittedfromthehydraulicmotor/hydrostatictransmissionoutput
geartotheaxlepinionspurgear.Thepinionspurgeartransmitspowerdirectly
tothedifferentialdrivegears,toturntheaxlesandfrontwheels.
Thedifferentialaxlehasaone-pieceaxleshaftwiththeangebeingpartof
theaxlestem.
