1.Cleanthemachinefullybeforeyoudisconnectordisassemblethehydraulic
components.
Note:Cleanlinessisrequiredwheneveryouworkonthehydraulic
equipment.Contaminationcausestoomuchwearonhydrauliccomponents.
2.Whenyouperformtestsonthehydraulicsystem,weareyeprotection.
3.Beforeyouperformatest,checkthetractioncontrolleverlinkagesfor
improperadjustment,binding,orbrokenparts.
4.Performallthehydraulictestswiththehydraulicuidatnormaloperating
temperature.
5.Installcleanmetalcapsorplugsonthehydrauliclinesthatareleftopenor
exposedduringthetestingorcomponentremoval.
6.Whenyouuseahydraulictester(pressureandow),ensurethattheinletand
outlethosesareproperlyconnectedandnotreversedtopreventdamaging
thehydraulictesterorcomponents.
7.Installthehydraulicttingsbyhandandensurethattheyarenot
cross-threadedbeforeyoutightenthemwithawrench.
8.Positionthetesterhosestopreventtherotatingmachinepartsfrom
contactinganddamagingthehosesortester.
9.Afteryouconnectthetestequipment,checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthe
hydraulicreservoir(frontaxle)andensurethatthereservoirhasthecorrect
uidlevel.
10.Whenyouuseahydraulictester(pressureandow),openthetesterload
valvefullybeforeyoustarttheenginetoreducethepossibilityofdamaging
thecomponents.
11.Ensurethattheengineisingoodoperatingconditionbeforeperformingany
hydraulictest.
Note:Useaphototacwhenyouperformahydraulictest.Theenginespeed
canaffecttheaccuracyofthetesterreadings.
