BatteryCharging
Tominimizepossibledamagetothebatteryandtoallowthebatterytobefully
charged,theslowchargingmethodispresentedhere.Thischargingmethod
canbeaccomplishedwithaconstantcurrentbatterychargerwhichisreadily
available.
CAUTION
Followthebatterychargermanufacturer’sinstructionswhenusing
abatterycharger.
1.Disconnectthebatterycablesfromthebatterybeingchargedbeforecharging
(seeBatteryRemoval(page6–140)andBatteryInstallation(page6–142)).
2.Determinethebatterychargelevelfromitsopencircuitvoltage.
