10.Removethecoolerframeassemblywiththeradiatorandfanassembly,oil
coolerandfanassembly,airlterandplenumassembly,coolantreservoir
andwindshieldwasherreservoirattached(Figure24):
A.Recordthelocationofcableties,clampsandclipsusedtosecurethe
electricalharnesstothecoolerframe.
B.Disconnectthewindshieldwasherreservoirpumpfromthewireharness
(GM5910only).
C.Disconnecttwo(2)oilcoolerfansfromthewireharness.
D.Disconnectairlterserviceindicatorfromthewireharness.
E.Disconnecttwo(2)radiatorfansfromthewireharness.
F.Disconnecttwo(2)radiatorfansfromthewireharness.
G.Supportthecoolerframeassemblefromoverheadandremovethe
fastenerssecuringthecoolerframetothemachine.Liftthecoolerframe
assemblyfromthemachine.
11.Recordthelocationofcableties,clampsandclipsusedtosecurethe
electricalharnesstotheengineandpreparetheengineforremoval:
A.Disconnectthedieselparticulatelter(DPF)fromthewireharness.
B.Disconnectthealternatorfromthewireharnessandthepositive(+)cable.
