1.Ensurethatthesprayertankislledwithwater.
2.Setthetransmissionasfollows:
•ForHD-SeriesModelswithamanual
transmission—shiftthetransmissiontothe
NEUTRALposition.
•FortheHDX-Automodel—shiftthe
transmissiontoP(park).
3.Engagetheparkingbrakeandturntheengine
on.
4.Setthe3boomswitchestotheONposition,
butleavethemasterboomswitchintheOFF
position.
5.SetthepumpswitchtotheONposition,andturn
ontheagitation.
6.Settheenginespeedasfollows:
•Formachineswithouttheoptionalthrottle
lock—have1personpressdownonthe
acceleratorpedaluntiltheenginereaches
maximumenginespeed.
Note:Havetheotherpersonadjustthe
boomsection-bypassvalves.
•Formachineswiththeoptionalthrottlelock,
pressdownontheacceleratorpedaluntil
theenginereachesmaximumenginespeed
andsetthethrottlelock;refertooperation
instructionsforyourWorkmanhandthrottle
kit.
7.OntheInfoCenter,navigatetotheCalibration
menuandselectT estSpeed.
