10. Install the seal. Press it ush with the top of the
housing (Fig. 481).
Note: The open lip of the seal faces inward.

7. Turn the spindle assembly over and install the split
ring spacer (Fig. 478).

9. Pack the tapered bearing with #2 grease and install
the tapered bearing (Fig. 480).

8. Install the inner spacer to the spindle assembly (Fig.
