6. Make sure that the Dynamic update is enabled from DDNS for the Forward Lookup
Zones.
- Right-click the domain in the Forward Lookup Zones and select [Properties].
- Make sure the “Allow dynamic updates?” option is set to “Yes” (for Windows
2000 Server) or “Nonsecure and Secure” (for Windows Server 2003).
NOTE: If setting of Windows Server 2003 is “Secure” mode or “None” for this DDNS function,
you need to add the equipment’s host name manually in the Forward Lookup Zone.
