4. Select the CAS.
5. Begin upgrade. The IP address is not set by the INI or CMP files, so
the IP address set earlier will be maintained after the upgrade.
6. Browse to file location, then click Send File.
7. Click on Next.
8. Browse to the TOSHIBA ini file, then click send file
9. Click on Next.
10. Browse to the T1 Winkstart CAS file ini file, then click send file
11. Click on Next.
12. When browsing select the DAT file.
13. When Finished all files will load and unit will reset (reboot). This will
take a few minutes.
14. Log into the Mediant 1000 and begin configuration.

CONFIGURATION
This section covers the configuration of the AudioCodes Mediant 1000
gateway as a TI or PRI to Toshiba IPedge system gateway.
1. Login to the Mediant 1000 gateway.
2. Click on Configuration. Select the FULL radial.
Note: To configure Trunks (T1 or PRI trunks) or FXO on the Mediant
1000 the FXO module is required.
3. Select Select Configuration > PSTN Settings > Trunk Settings set
the following:
Protocol type is T1 N2 ISDN or T1 N1 ISDN (Depending on your CO
provider)
Framing Method T1 FRAMINIGN ESF CRCS
B Channel: PREFERRED
