4. Click on the Apply Trunk Setting button. A screen alert may pop up
to inform you must reboot/Reset. Ignore the the message.
5. Click on the BURN icon. A green light may appear on the screen or
T1 port after reset to indicate that Layer 1 and Layer 2 are up.
6. In the Device Actions pull-down select Reset.
7. Select Configuration > PSTN Settings > Trunk Settings. In the
Reset Configuration section click on the Reset button.Click Reset

Trunk Protocol and
Configuration
1. Select Protocol Configuration > Trunk Group > Trunk Group
Group index =1
Module = Module 1 PRI
From Trunk =1
To Trunk =1
Channel 1-23 (Set this value the number of channels in your service.)
Trunk Group ID = 1
2. Select Protocol Configuration > Trunk Group > Trunk Group
Settings
Trunk Group ID = 1
Channel select mode = Ascending
3. Select Protocol Configuration > Protocol Definition > SIP General
Parameters
Fax signaling method = G711 Transport
4. Select Protocol Configuration > Protocol Definition > DTMF &
Dialing
Declare 2833 in SDP = Yes
1st tx DTMF Opt = RFC2833
Max Digits = 11
Interdigit =1 (set this higher if it times out while users are dialing)
5. Select Protocol Configuration > Proxy, Registration IP Groups >
Proxies & Registration
Use default proxy = yes
Redundancy mode = Homing
6. Select PROTOCOL CONFIGURATION > CODERS AND PROFILE
DEFINITIONS > CODERS
Set the Media Setting to G711u-law and G729
Set Packetization Time to 20
7. Select PROTOCOL CONFIGURATION > CODERS AND PROFILE
DEFINITIONS > IP Profile Settings
Set the Disconnect on broken connection = No
8. Select PROTOCOL CONFIGURATION > SIP ADVANCED
PARAMETERS >ADVANCED PARAMETERS.
Set the Disconnect on broken connection = No
Set Enable current disconnect = Enabled.
9. Select Protocol Configuration > Routing Tables > Routing
General Parameters
Enable alternate routing = Disabled (either will work)
