commands from the centralized administration based in the central
administration system.
When the node is detached an ‘attach/backup.dat’ is created and saved in
the node. When the node is attached the processor will boot from the
‘attach/backup.dat’ and later the Central Admin System will pull a backup
copy. Any changes made to the detached node database while the node
was detached will be lost.

To understand IPedge system operation, in particular, to understand
backup, restore, and synchronization functions the IPedge databases and
data types must be defined.
Enterprise Manager
Database
The Enterprise Manager database resides in the Primary Node. The
contents can be understood as three sets of data.
IPedge Call Processing
Enterprise Network Topology
User Data
IPedge Call Processor
Database (All Nodes)
An IPedge Call Processing database exists on each node. The Call
Processing database is the local call processing DB. It is a non-MySQL
database, independent of Enterprise Manager DB. This database
contains the local operations for call processing in it’s own node.
