6.4 Maintenance
In normal conditions, the AC drive is maintenance-free. However, regular maintenance is recom-
mended to ensure trouble-free operation and longevity of the drive. We recommend the table below
is followed for maintenance intervals.
NOTE: Because of capacitor type (thin film capacitors), reforming of capacitors is not necessary.

Regularly and according to

• Check tightening torques of terminals
6...24 months (depending on
environment)
• Check input and output terminals and
control I/O terminals.
• Check operation of cooling fan
• Check the heatsink for dust and clean
if necessary
6...20 years • Change main fan
10 years • Replace the battery of the RTC.
