The display has an always active AC termination for RS‑422/RS‑485. The AC terminator
contains a 160 Ω resistor and a series capacitor.
1. Remove the connectors from the circuit board.
2. Depending on the communication mode, connect the serial cable or the Ethernet cable.
3. Set the DIP switches to the correct position for the serial connection.
4. Connect the power cable.
5. Loosen the fixing screw for the strain relief cover plate, and remove the plate.
