6.6 Cleaning screen
Before cleaning the screen surface, you must temporarily deactivate the touch screen.
1. On a data page, touch the screen to enter Navigation mode.
2. On the Display settings page, press Wipe.
The screen is deactivated for 30 seconds. Wait for the counter to show the remaining
cleaning time.
3. Clean the screen surface using the cleaning cloth provided in the product package, or
another damp, soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth. Use either distilled water or an
ammonia-free glass cleaner.
Do not apply detergent or water directly onto the screen. It may drip
inside the display and damage the device.
CAUTION!
When the counter reaches zero, the touch screen is activated.
