5. In the COM port settings, depending on the data type:
• Press the arrow to open the list and select from the list of options.
• Press the data field to open the typing pad. When finished, press OK.
Connection type
Select the RS connection type from the available options, for example, RS‑485
2‑w for 2‑wire RS‑485.
Speed (baud)
Bit rate setting for the serial port (default = 4800).
Data bits
Data bit setting for the serial port (default = 8).
Parity
Parity settings for the serial port (default = None).
Stop bits
Stop bit setting for the serial port (default = 1).
Delay before (m/s)
The turnaround delay of the RS‑485 driver before sending data.
Delay after (m/s)
The turnaround delay of the RS‑485 driver after sending data.
6. To save the changes, press Apply.
The changes are valid only after pressing
Apply.
