11.2 Servicing work
Maintenance on the operational machine is performed to ensure trouble-free operation. Operating mes-
sages on the display indicate to the user at an early stage what maintenance must be performed. These
messages are described in chapter 9.13 "Operating messages".
We recommend having the Vacuum Packaging Machine fully serviced at least once a year by the
manufacturer's customer services. The VC999 Customer Service Dep. is ready and available for any
other servicing work at any time.
CAUTION
Risk of crushing. Before undertaking servicing work, always switch the Vacuum Packaging
Machine off first, and make sure that the machine cannot be switched on again inadvertently.
