Term Denition
AC Alternating Current. V*Home can be connected to external, continuous sources of AC power, such
as a wall outlet.
Apnea The temporary cessation of a patient’s ability to initiate breaths on their own.
Assist breath A breath that is initiated by patient effort and cycled by V*Home.
BPM Breaths Per Minute.
BTPS Body Temperature and Pressure Saturated.
DC Direct Current. V*Home can be connected to external sources of DC power, such as wheelchair
outlets.
