REFERENCE PROCEDURES
This chapter contains the procedures used for routine maintenance and repairs in order to ensure safe and
effective operation of the instrument. Procedures documented in this section do not require any disassembly
of the console or probe.
The following procedures are included in this section:
• Load Thermal Paper
• Run a Self Test
• Set Up & Maintain the String Phantom
• Scan a Tissue‑Equivalent Phantom
PROCEdURE 24. LOAd THERMAL PAPER
The BladderScan BVI3000 has an automatic paper‑loading mechanism. When you insert the paper roll
correctly, the instrument automatically feeds the paper through the instrument and prepares for printing. If
you attempt to print and the console is out of paper, the No Paper error is displayed.

1. On the top of the control unit, open the paper well door.
2. If there is an empty paper roll in the paper well, remove it.
3. If there is a paper roll in the printer that is not Verathon part 0800‑0042, remove it.
