Data-Set Types
The following types of data sets are included in the Exam File screen:
Lens-meter results - the prescriptions of the lenses currently in use by the
patient
These results can be retrieved by the EyeRefract from a lens meter, like
the VX40, if the EyeRefract is configured to connect to it over the local
network. Alternatively, they can be entered manually. For additional
information, see Overview of the Exam File Screen.
Results from the wavefront analysis
These are the results of the automated measurement process; they
cannot be manually modified.
The wavefront results, as modified by the practitioner
Note: When the automated measurement process is completed, the
results are saved both as WF Ref and as Final. WF Ref retains these
results in their original form, and cannot be modified. Final can be fine-
tuned by the tester based on the subjective refraction.
