4. 6 Refraction Screen
The Refraction screen displays the results of wavefront analyses and contains controls for
both the chart display, the near-vision target, and the built-in phoropter. You can use this screen
to perform a subjective refraction either after the wavefront measurement process is
completed, or manually as required.
Two alternative modes of the Refraction screen are available:
Quick Pro mode, a wizard that performs the refraction semi-automatically, in a series
of steps in which you are presented with questions to ask the patient, you input the
patient's answers, and the system automatically adjusts the phoropter lenses in
response to the patient input; at the beginning of the process, the wizard initiates a
wavefront measurement
Manual mode, which gives you manual control of the phoropter, the chart displays, the
working distance, and the system's other features. this mode is possible only from
Quick Pro Mode.
