7.18 Confirming a Malfunctioning Circuit Breaker

Electric shock hazard. Only qualified personnel should conduct this
test.
Complete this test with the engine shut down.
7.18.1 Remove the circuit breaker(s) from the control panel.
7.18.2 Place the circuit breaker ON-OFF switch in the ON position.
7.18.3 Using the Ohms scale on the multimeter, test the circuit breaker for
continuity. If you measure no continuity (“OL” or “OPEN”), replace the
breaker. If the breaker has continuity, re-install it. Place ON-OFF
switch in the OFF position.
