Check battery voltage.

terminal 30 of keyswitch and ground.
Reconnect
black wire.
Clean and
tighten connections.
Repair wiring
from terminal 30
to battery.
Are
connections clean
and tight?

Recharge or
replace battery.

battery measure
11.0–13.0V?
No

Check for battery voltage between
terminal 50 and ground when key
is placed in the START position.
Engine Does Not Crank
Is battery
voltage measured
between 30 and
ground?

Replace keyswitch.
Is battery
voltage measured
between 50 and
ground?

Check for battery voltage
between black wire at starter
solenoid and ground when
key is in START position.
Repair/replace
black wire.
