Free Wipe of ink that may have leaked
thru the nozzles during this quick
procedure.
Printhead Unit Treatment before each new print job
If the wallPen is not used for some time, if air pressure changes considerably or if the
print head unit is shaken during transport, even small amounts of air may pass through
the nozzles into the ink system. In any case, you need to carefully fold and hold a dust-
free wipe in front of each print head, gently press the corresponding bag in the ink
compartment to push any air out that may have been drawn in through the nozzles.
Then gentle clean the nozzle plate, by carefully and gently wiping the wipe sideways
from one direction to the other. Avoid dabbing movements and never rub the wipe
back and forth.
