Health Risks
UV Ink
UV inks and cleaners are dangerous to the environment and health. Please read the
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the inks and cleaning fluid!
Always observe the hazard information, transport and storage conditions, warnings
and specifications for UV inks and cleaning fluids given in these danger sheets!
Supported inks
The wallPen printer is only suitable for UV ink from the manufacturer. Printheads are
very sensitive devices. Do not use any other ink than original wallPen ink. The use of
other ink does not guarantee a proper functionality of the printer and will void any
warranties.

Printheads and Ink
Since UV inks react relatively quickly to UV light, you should never expose
print heads and ink to direct sunlight and protect them from daylight. Failure
to do so may result in total damage to the printheads as the ink may cure at
the nozzles and render them unusable.
So be sure to protect your print heads and ink from direct sunlight! Never
expose print heads and ink to direct light for longer than 2 minutes, even
indoors, as normal indoor light also has UV components.
When the printer is not in use:
Whenever you do not print, protect the print heads with the appropriate
cover.
Damage caused by hardened ink on the printhead nozzles is not covered by
the warranty.
