6.2 Symbols on packaging
This way up
The arrowheads indicate the top of the package. They must always
face upward to avoid damage to the content.
Fragile
Identifies packages with fragile or sensitive contents.
Handle the package with care, do not drop or subject to impacts.
Keep dry
Keep packages away from moisture and keep dry.
Stacking limitation
Identifies packages that are partially stackable.
Do not exceed the maximum load specified in the symbol to avoid
damage to or destruction of the content.
Protect from heat
Protect packages from heat and direct sunlight.
6.3 Transport inspection
Check the delivery for completeness and transport damages
immediately upon receipt.
Proceed as follows in case of externally visible transport damage:
Decline delivery or accept with reservation only.
Record extent of damage in the transport documentation or on
the delivery note of the haulier.
Initiate complaint.
NOTE!
Complain about each defect as soon as it is
detected. Claims for damages can only be made
within the applicable claim periods.
