7 Installation and commissioning
NOTE!
Installation and commissioning is normally
performed by the manufacturer’s staff or by
persons authorised by the manufacturer.
After commissioning, the operator is instructed and
trained by the operating company.
Specialised staff can also assist if the location is
changed after commissioning.
7.1 Safety notes for installation and commissioning
Installation and commissioning may only be performed by
specially trained staff.
Work on the electrical system may only be performed by
electricians.
Personal protective equipment
Wear the following protective gear when performing installation
and commissioning tasks:
Protective clothing
Safety shoes
Safety gloves
DANGER!
Danger to life through electric shock!
Danger to life if live components are touched.
Therefore:
– Switch off power supply and secure against
switching before starting any work.
