Obs.: It's necessary to use normal fuses or breaker to protect
the installation. Ultra-Fast fuses are not necessary for
the SSW-03 Plus operation, but they are recommended
for SCR protection.
The transformer "T" is optional and must be utilized
when the line voltage is different than the electronics
and fan voltage.
For the integral motor protection it's recommended to
install one or more thermostats in the motor. If the ther-
mostat is not used, the external input error (DI3) from
SSW-03 Plus must be connected to +Vdc.
NOTE!
A contactor in the mains input (see 9.4) is necessary to pro-
tect the motor in case there is a phase failure which is caused
by damage in the SSW-03 Plus power circuit.
To maintain motor thermal protection after the Soft-Starter is
by-passed, the Current Transformers (CT) must be connected
in conformity with the diagram above. For motor connec-
tion, see Item 6.4.1.
