1. Turn off the printer using the power switch on the back of
the printer.
2. On the touch screen, touch Standard Power Off.
3. Wait for the printer to complete its power off sequence.
4. On the back of the printer, squeeze the two latches on the
connector of the scanner cable, then remove the cable.
5. Reinsert the cable by pushing the connector until both latches
click into place.
6. Turn on the power switch.
If the error persists, contact your Xerox representative.
