Lift the document feeder
cover and place the first
page face down in the upper
left corner of the document
glass.
The original must be aligned
to the matching paper size
printed on the edge of
the glass.
The document glass
automatically detects
standard paper sizes.
The document glass accepts
paper sizes up to 210 x
297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 in.).
Insert originals face up, with page one
on top.
Adjust the paper guides so they fit
against the originals.
The document feeder automatically
detects standard paper sizes.
The document feeder accepts paper
sizes from A5 (148 x 210 mm,
5.8 x 8.3 in.) through Legal
(216 x 356 mm, 8.5 x 14 in.).
The document feeder accepts paper
weights from 60–150 g/m².
The maximum document feeder
capacity is approximately 50 sheets of
80 g/m² paper.
For Legal (216 x 356 mm, 8.5 x 14 in.)
documents, raise the output tray
paper stop.
