REP 18 Scanner Frame

WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer supply
while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or injury. Moving
parts can cause injury.
Preparation
• Remove the ADF cover, REP 2, or the platen cover, REP 38.
• Remove the front door and the side covers, REP 3.
• Remove the CPU shield plate, REP 11.
• Remove the platen assembly, REP 16
.
Removal
1. Remove the two mounting screws on the frame (A and B) and turn the cover upside down,
