REP 22 Scanner Motor

WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer supply
while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or injury. Moving
parts can cause injury.
Preparation
• Remove the ADF cover, REP 2.
• Remove the front door and the side covers, REP 3.
• Remove the CPU shield plate, REP 11.
• Remove the platen assembly, REP 16
.
Removal
1. Unscrew the two mounting screws of the scanner motor (A and B), Figure 1.

2. Remove the end of the scanner motor connector from its ferrite tube.
