S/W Descriptions
Overview
The software of the system is constructed with
1. Host Software part that the application software operated in Window and Web Environment,
and
2. Firmware parts that is a Embedded software controls printing job.

Host Software is made up of
1. Graphic User Interface that offers the various editing functions to user in Host,
2. Driver that translates the received document to a Printing Command language which printer
can understand and transfers data to spooler,
3. Stand-alone Application that offers the various printing application, DMS (Document Manage-
ment System), RCP (Remote Control Panel), Printer Status Monitor, Network Management in
Window system,
4. Web-based-Application that offers the same functions as Stand-alone Application and RDC
(Remote Diagnosis Control) in Web environment.
Firmware is made up of
1. Application (Emulation) that is a interpreter translate data received from Host to a printing lan-
guage (PCL, PS, GDI, etc.) to be able to make the user to take same output as originally one
what composed in Host.
2. Kernel that control and management the whole procedure include of Control flow and Printing
Job before transfer to Engine system.
