REP 5.14 DADF Top Cover Assembly (4265)

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
CAUTION
Before performing this procedure, refer to General Disassembly Precautions, GP 10.
1. Switch off machine power. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Remove the DADF (REP 5.3).
3. Dislocate the DADF Rear Cover (Figure 1).

4. Dislocate the Input Tray from the DADF (Figure 2).

Set the DADF on its side, with the rear of the DADF facing upwards.

Carefully dislocate the three
locking tabs using a flat-
blade screwdriver.

Set the DADF down on the
table top, with the top side
facing upwards.

Remove the screw.

Dislocate the Input Tray from the pivot bearings by
pressing inwards on each side of the tray.

Leave the Input Tray on top of the DADF.
