12. Remove the CCD Assembly (Figure 10).

Replacement
1. Set the CCD Assembly back into the machine and reattach the spring to the underside of
the CCD, and to the bracket.
NOTE: The spring is being reinstalled at this time because the CCD is not yet fastened to
the machine frame, and can be lifted for easier access to the spring attachment area.
2. Reinstallation is the reverse of the Removal procedure.

Lift the CCD Assembly and move
the heat sink through the square
opening on the front of the frame.

Lift the inboard end of the CCD out
of the machine.

Remove the CCD from the
machine.
