Additional System Settings
(When Selecting the Single Account Mode)
When the machine is in the Single Account Mode by selecting "1" for the Account Mode
(menu number: 70) in the system settings, additional menu is available for you to set
the password on the machine.
Note • Because you can only set a single password on the machine in the Single Account Mode,
the same password must be used by the general users and the System Administrator.
17 Wait Time after Clearing Jams
in the Bypass Tray
After clearing paper jams in the
Bypass Tray, the machine
automatically executes the
recovery processing.
Specify how long it takes for the
machine to start its recovery
processing after paper jams have
been cleared.
0 - 60 seconds
(Default: 8 seconds)
18 Carriage Return Position When scanning a document for a
copy or scan job, opening the
Document Cover triggers the
scanner carriage to be in the ready
position. However, if you do not
press the <Start> button to start the
job within a specified period of
time, the scanner carriage goes
back to its default position.
Specify how long the carriage
waits in the ready position before it
goes back to the default position.
0 - 60 seconds
(Default: 7 seconds)
22 Drum Cartridge Remaining Life Shows you the remaining life of the
Drum Cartridge in percentages.
0 - 100%
23 Total Print Counter Shows the total number of copies
made under all accounts.
24 Machine Serial Number Shows you the machine serial
number.
70 Account Mode Select the machine account mode.
