Use iCursor B / C to select the channel to
be locked and press iENTER.
When iENTER is pressed, the selected channel is
received for confirmation. Each time
iENTER is
pressed after that, lock switches between on and off.
To lock channels in other categories, press
iRETURN to display the category selection screen,
and follow the procedure described above.
Receiving locked channels
Use direct number access mode (☞p. 76) or preset
search mode (☞p. 77) to receive locked channels. When
a locked channel is received, “Locked” is displayed
followed by the parental lock code input screen. Use
wNumeric keys to enter the 4-digit code.
Scroll
Switches the scroll target (channel name, channel
category, artist name, song title, or composer name).
Browse
Switches the display to the Browse view.

select the desired one with iCursor B / C and

code number is entered, “Wrong Number” appears.

iCursor B / C to select Parental Lock and
press
iENTER, and then enter the correct number.
• If you forget the parental lock code or want to change
it, reset it using “SR PIN” (☞
p. 146).
Check mark
Parental Lock Restricts the access to specified channel
(☞p. 78).
Clear Preset Clears registration of the preset station
highlighted in the preset station list.
Clear All Preset Clears registration of all preset stations.
