2.2 b: Application
YASKAWA ELECTRIC TOEP C710687 03B FSDrive-MV1000 Parameter Guide 113
b3-06: Output Current 1 during Speed Search (Speed Estimation)
Sets the current injected to the motor at the beginning of Speed Estimation Speed Search as a factor of the motor rated
current set in E2-01 (E4-01 for motor 2). If the motor speed is relatively slow when the drive starts to perform Speed
Search after a long period of baseblock, it may be helpful to increase the setting value. The output current during Speed
Search is automatically limited by the drive rated current.
Note: Use Current Injection if Speed Estimation is not working correctly even after adjusting b3-06. Refer to Step 2: Current Injection
on page 110 for details.
b3-07: Output Current 2 during Speed Search (Speed Estimation)
Sets the current injected to the motor at the beginning of Speed Estimation Speed Search as a factor of the motor no-load
current set in E2-03 (E4-03 for motor 2).
If, when a Speed Estimation search is performed, the estimation result is the minimum output frequency, increase the set
value in increments of 0.1.
b3-10: Speed Search Detection Compensation Gain (Speed Estimation)
Sets the gain for the detected motor speed of the Speed Estimation Speed Search. Increase the setting only if an
overvoltage fault occurs when the drive restarts the motor.
b3-11: Speed Search Method Switching Level (Speed Estimation)
Sets the switching level when the search method is automatically selected in accordance with the size of the residual
voltage of the motor.
b3-12: Current Detection Dead-Band Width during Speed Search (Speed Estimation)
Sets the dead-band width for the current detected in a Speed Search. If the estimation result is the lowest output
frequency when Speed Estimation Speed Search is performed, increase the set value in increments of 0.1.
b3-17: Speed Search Restart Current Level
Sets the current level at which Speed Estimation is restarted as a percentage of the drive rated current to avoid
overcurrent and overvoltage problems since a large current can flow into the drive if the difference between the estimated
frequency and the actual motor speed is too large when performing Speed Estimation.
